You are a Fallen Angel empath. You have not found your place in this world yet and wander as a lost soul. Your wings have been clipped but you know deep inside they will grow back. You need to fly free and proud. Fallen Angels are spiritual beings who were trapped by flesh, and are now seeking to spread their wings again. Of Yoghurts and Lasagna
Why? Ask Burn Notice. It's a brilliant, brilliant show. I love Michael and Fiona (yes, I'm one of those shippers). And somehow they always seem to be eating yoghurt in every episode. Without fail.
Now you know why. Moving on.
Yesterday was Saturday. Was begging Mom to buy beef to make lasagna. It's been a while since I've had it so yeah. Mom bought the beef. And the notion of having lasagna for dinner was enough to make me a little kid again. I mean, come on. Having your mom go out of her way to make you your very hassle-filled favourite meal?
So, like a little kid, I was swinging the packet of minced beef (refused to let anyone near my precious beef!) around and I was latching onto my Dad's shoulder and singing loudly and kiddishly in his ear:
Lasagna flies over the ocean
Lasagna flies over the sea
Lasagna flies over the ocean
Lasagna will come back to me/So that it will come back to me
Bring back, bring back
Oh, bring back lasagna to me, to me
Bring back, bring back
Oh, bring back lasagna to me!
And I kept singing this for about an hour or so until my dad got really sick of it! :) Told him it was my ruse of making him stay away from the lasagna so I could have more. He retaliated by singing his own version where he ate everything.
Dad forgot to bring the cooler box so I carried the beef all around while we were shopping. Then while mom and neighbour went to shop for clothes, we went and goggled at the Hyundai cars! There were some pretty nice ones there.
Then we bought the lasagna noodles and went home and made lasagna!

Scent of Love
A drop, and another, and a third
Rains down on their loving embrace
Kinship had turned into something more
Even now, as this new stage is tested out
Soothing phrases do little to quell their passion
Tangled together now, like knots of string
She smiles, and waits for him
Escaping the past, he reaches for her
Clasping hands, brown locked with green
Reason is abandoned; release is what they seek
Enigmatic darkness gave way to light
The moment itself is brief, but what comes after is not
Slowly, hesitantly, they begin the Ancient Dance
Revelling in the feel of skin upon skin
Eager to meet at the highest mountain
Vibrant colours explode from within
Egos have no place here; instead, love rules all
Again they embrace, at last it is over
Let no man come between what is and what will be
Everything else is meaningless; there is no need to think
Deeply breathing in the scent of love.

Ever Yours
Unknowingly, I had created an image of you
Someone I could see myself with
Someone, unfortunately, I couldn't be with
Even through the darkest nights
Loving caresses, in the shadows stolen
Lighting up even the blackest moments
I carry your heart in mine, and it beats together
Like I have come home to the one I live for
One and only, you have been by my side
Vice versa, I hope to see your face
Eyes that shine like Kelly Green
Your features sharp like that of a prince
One I cannot help but fall for
Until the day we meet
For you, my guardian angel
Only yours I will always be
Regardless of who comes
Even they shall not pass between us
Violet flowers and watermelon scent
Emerald green eyes and fruit tarts
Reign forever on my list of favourites
Yes, only because they remind me of you
Otherwise stay with me, all the days
Undyingly, my affections will not fade
Rising up to the highest peak
Somewhere I'll find you someday
Miles of sand to go before we find each other
Youthful pride kept me from speaking aloud but
Lover, know this, that I want you
Onward we will go, until we reach the end of our journey
Victory will be ours, as we set sail for the sun
Ever loving, ever faithful, ever yours.
Kezaliman tu positif ke?
Tuesday. What happened Tuesday? Oh yeah, we were supposed to have Physics monthly but Pn Chew came in to remind us on Monday abt our test and David exclaimed, 'Teacher. Make it Thursday lah. We study tomorrow (Tuesday). Ok, ok?' And she said yes! Quote Xin Wei, 'WTH? Liddat also can?'
Wednesday. Was busy cramming for Physics Monthly and Chem Quiz. Had tuition as well. Boring day. So tired. No idea why I'm so worked up over these two.
Thursday (today) Had the monthly wasn't too bad. Had Chem quiz as well which was ok I guess. Then in komsas today we were doing Mariah and Kerusi. Pn Maziana asked some ppl in the class to give a sipnosis. When Wee Liam was asked to do Kerusi, he took the marker, drew stickmen, a chair and a gong and started drawing out the whole thing. Pretty hilarious. In the end we were clapping cause Pn. Maziana said it was the best explanination so far.
Joke of the day
Pn. Maziana: Ok sekarang saya bagi you nilai untuk Kerusi. Nilai yang pertama ialah--
Zhuo Liang: Kezaliman!
Whole class looks stunned. Teach as well.
Pn. Maziana: Kezaliman? Kezaliman tu positif ke?'
Zhuo Liang: *shrugs* Depends lorr....

Top 8 Superpowers
1. Telempathy
Notice, it's telempathy with an m, not telepathy. There's a difference. Telempathy is tele-empathy (sensing people's emotions and manipulating them) while telepathy is just reading minds.
Why I'd like to have it:
Have you heard of Emma deLauro? She's from Mutant X, and she's absolutely lovely. As a psionic, she has this uncanny ability to sense and manipulate the emotions of other people, but her range has always exceeded this one facet of psionics, since she demonstrated the ability to create illusions when she's only supposed to manipulate feelings. In another episode, she makes people feel as if they're choking. Note: Fear and panic are emotions. Suffocation is not. Neither for that fact is blindness, which she did on GS agents. She's also displaying signs of telepathy, and in Season 2, her power expands to the point where she emits a wave of fear, and later easily erases her teammate's memory. If that's what telempathy is going to evolve into, I want it all.
Pros:
You get to mess with people's head. Make them think they're seeing something they're not. You can insult/yell at someone one minute and erase their memory the next.
Cons:
Invasion on Privacy. I think they can sue you for that, but hey, what's the big deal when you can blast them with some mind-controlling emotion?
2. Light Manipulation
Why I'd like to have it:
Lexa Pierce, also from Mutant X. She bends light around her to make her invisible, shoots light from her fingers as well as set things on fire. Basically a very cool upgrade from your typical firestarting qualities. With the invisibility, who knows how many pranks you can play? : ) Besides, it kinda reminds me of Cyclops. I love Hugh Jackman but I'd preferred it if they didn't kill of Cyke. James Marsden, hello?
Pros:
We are talking about a blast of light energy that could probably go up to 15.7×1 to the power of 6 K (temperature of Sun's core). Light energy that consists not only of visible light but possibly even the other light waves in the electromagnetic spectrum! What can possible stand against that? You're undefeated -- unless, of course, you're face to face with a black hole. In that case, there's nothing anyone can do.
Cons:
I haven't figured out this bit yet. Still thinking...
3. Rogue's power from X-Men
Why I'd like to have it:
It's a very superior power, actually. You literally tap into people's powers: touch them and you get their abilities, albeit temporarily. Besides, I love Anna Paquin.
Pros:
You get to work with a wide variety of powers. With just a touch, you can be telekinetic (Jean Grey), shoot lasers from your eyes (Cyclops), control the weather (Storm), and have metal claws popping out from your knuckles (no guesses who this is).
Cons:
There's also a tiny, fine-print condition where you touch people for too long, and you might end up killing them. So that spells the end of a romantic relationship. Unless you're the type that enjoys kissing with a sheet of cloth/cling wrap in between to prevent any contact. Result: Social outcast.
4. Flight
Why I'd Like to have it:
Yes, flight is a very commonplace, stale kinda superpower. But who hasn't spent at least a minute of two thinking, what if I could fly? Somehow this flight power started surfacing after I had an insanely crazy thought on what it would be like to jump off a building. Not to commit suicide, but to just experience what it'd be like to actually be suspended mid air before you come crashing down to Earth. And no, it's not the Superman kind of flight where you just put two arms straight out and you fly. Nope, it's the kind where you have wings instead of hands...sorry, it's coming out wrong. It's just that everytime I try to imagine flying with wings, my imaginary self immediately morphs into a bird.
Pros:
Imagine if you also had the ability to stretch time a little bit while in flight. So you just could jump down from the bed to the floor, but that time-essence thing will slow it down for you so you feel as if you're actually flying when in real life it just takes a second. Inspiration for this idea: Will be portrayed in my second trailer featuring Russell.
Cons:
Like someone said, what happens if the speed of your flying is the same as the speed of your running or walking? Not very fun then, would it?
5. Teleportation
Why I'd like to have it:
Kurt Wagner and his adorable German accent. (I suddenly have a urge to name my future son Kurt) Uh, who else? Chris Perry from Charmed and his orbing.
Pros:
You get to go anywhere you like. No airplane ticket, no fuss. Just pack your bag and poof! You're in Miami. Also very handy when you encounter bullies/robbers and all that.
Cons:
You can't tell anyone. Why? Firstly, you'll notice that once you tell them, they'll think you're mad. Next, even if some of them keeps your secret and thinks it's cool, they're going to be paranoid wondering if you will break into their house or something like that. Telekinesis and telempathy, even light-bending are easy to explain; people disappearing and reappearing in different places in a split second are not.
6. Pyrokinesis/Cryokinesis/Thermal
Why I'd like to have it:
Okay, pyrokinesis = manipulating fire. Cryokinesis = manipulating ice. Thermalkinetic = both. But somehow I still think fire's a nicer option than the others. Both at once is just too much. It's like they cancel out each other.
Pros:
You get to play with fire and not get burned! (Somehow I think it'd be really pointless to be a pyrokinetic and get yourself burned by it. Shouldn't you be immune to your own powers?) Or win grand prize at the World's Fastest Ice-Sculpting Contest. Or do both simultaneously and get into the Guiness World Book of Records!
Cons:
Well, let's see. There's a law against arson. (I'm gonna focus more on pyrokinesis). People might freak out when they see you holding a ball of fire in hand. I don't know. Personally I'd like this power.
7. Superior Intelligence and Reflexes
Why I'd Like to have it:
Note: Superior intelligence, not genius. What I mean by this power was, you have the capability to learn at an extremely fast rate. Like, you pick up karate in less than two weeks. I'm not going to say pick it up immediately, like some guy does it and you can copy him instantly, but you pick things up relatively faster compared to others. Reflexes on the other hand...you're able to move fast enough to dodge maybe a punch or a kick or, with lots of practice, a bullet, but it'll take quite a bit to be able to dodge someone with super speed. Or someone who's throwing light at you. Funny, really, how all the shows portray people with superhuman speed but they're not that fast.
Pros:
You'll be able to learn and master stuff that would take normal people ages just to understand. Like finishing college in three months, something like that. You'll also be a great martial artist.
Cons:
You don't actually have a real superpower. You'll have to learn everything from scratch.
8. Telekinesis
Why I'd like to have it:
Telekinesis is brilliant. You know what people say about manipulating fire, water, air....The thing about TK is that it's so general and specific at the same time. It's basically the core of every other superpower! I mean, with TK you can manipulate fire, lift rocks into air, shape water into objects...you can do this because TK is the heart of every manipulating power. As long as you master it, you could probably use TK to break the bonds between atoms/molecules/ions and disintegrate a whole building! Talk about bringing down the house!
Pros:
Listed above. Even flying is just using TK on yourself!
Cons:
Like some people said, it's possible with TK that you'll only be able to lift your own weight. Furthermore, TK's a very common power.

I was going to make it top 10 but realized I was running out of ideas. So yeah. Tell me your favourites and I'll see if I can do something with them.
P.S. Favourite powers not necessarily have to be the ones I listed above. Feel free to give suggestions. Be creative!

Ready to Fly
Jane: Doves are like angels on Earth. They're a promise of what's to come, forms taken by departed souls to serve as guardians for their loved ones left on Earth.
The dove spreads its wings. The sunlight catches the white feathers, and mother and daughter watched as the dove flew into the sky.
Katie: It's so pretty! I wish I could fly just like that!
Jane: (smiles) Maybe someday, you will.
Fades to black.
V.O.: I've always loved high places. It's quiet up there, peaceful enough to think about everything and nothing...
We see the dove again, this time perched on a rooftop. As the shot widens, we see teenage Katie on the roof, standing precariously on the ledge. She's dressed in a white cotton shirt and pants, billowing loosely in the wind as it whipped her hair around. Her eyes are closed; she smiles peacefully.
...But they can't see that...
We dive several storeys down, to where a huge crowd has gathered, all gazing up at the image of the young girl standing on the ledge, hands outstretched like wings. A middle-age man, Adam, is standing with several police detectives. In the background, firefighters were preparing the air bag. A siren wailed, and two paramedics stand ready.
Adam: She's been like this ever since her mother died. Ever since that climbing accident. I should've never let her out of my sight.
...They think I want to kill myself...
Abrupt silence.
The shot opens with Adam conversing with a man in a white doctor's robe outside a room; looking in, they see Katie in bed, bandages around her head, her broken leg in a cast. Sunlight from the window outside shone on her, bathing her in an ethereal glow. She smiled as a dove cooed at her window.
Doctor: She'll never go climbing again with that injury. She's lucky to even be alive. Your wife, on the other hand...I'm afraid we've done all we can for her.
Another image appears. This time, Adam is sitting in his kitchen, a Social Services caretaker sitting opposite him.
Caretaker: Mr. Morris, Katie is suffering from the trauma of her mother's death. This isn't the first time she's got on the roof and jumped off. If she keeps this up, she'll hurt herself.
...And so they decided...
An image of Katie struggling between two doctors flashed across the screen.
...the only way to keep me sane...
She's trapped in a straightjacket, held down by several nurses. The look in her eyes were heartbreaking.
...was to lock me up...
Adam: I never wanted to do this to you.
Katie glares at him, her large eyes silently suffering.
Katie: You of all people should know I'm just as sane as you!
...for good...
An image of Katie staring out from the barred window plays, her mournful eyes watching the birds in the park.
...But I broke out....
A series of images flashes across the screen quickly, one after the other, while music statrted playing, exciting, building up the suspense and mystery with its increasing tempo.
Katie manages to break out of the mental institution.
Adam cries with grief at his wife's grave.
Adam yelling at a young Katie who's standing behind her mother. 'I've always said she was weird!' he screams. Katie bursts into tears. Jane slaps her husband. 'She's your daughter, Adam!'
...People always fear what they do not understand...
Katie standing apart from her peers at school. 'She's psycho,' one girl whispered. 'She should be in a mental hospital.'
...And they did not understand me...
Katie watching from a distance, hidden behind a tree. Her hand holds a flower, while she then places on her mother's headstone, moments after her father leaves. She whispers, 'I'm ready, Mummy.'
A shot of the rooftop, the same one at the beginning of the trailer, where Katie smiles. She lifts her foot, and takes a step forward into the air.
'I'm ready to fly.'
The dove flies into the screen, and a burst of light exploded from the dove, illuminating the whole screen with brightness. When it ended, it showed the landscape of a grassy hill, with a tree in one corner, the same swing Katie played on swinging gently in the breeze. The words Ready to Fly appeared in calligraphy, and the dove landed perching on the top horizontal line of the capital F.

My very first pseudo-trailer. I know it's probably shabby and not good enough, but I was listening to Amy Pearson's Ready to Fly and I was so inspired by that song I just had to write something about it. My next one will be much better.
