The X-Men: The Future Generation

Okay b4 anyone says anything I do not own the Marvel characts. [Alot of fanfics I see write this disclaimer so I tot it would be best if I did the same] It's generally about the kids of the X-Men: the second generation of the whole mutant thing ok? Thanks to my good friend Timmy I managed to get quite alot of ideas. Hmmmm, maybe Silver Surfer's [Norrin Radd] kids make a cameo in this fanfic?

Jay Summers was feeling chipper. He had just asked Nessa out on a date, and she said yes. All he need now was some sponsors for the date.

Namely cash.

He had it all planned. Walking confidently, Jay barged into his brother's room. 'Ari, I need to borrow some cash....' his voice trailed away when he found himself talking to an empty room. 'Ari?' Jay walked towards the adjoining bathroom hesitantly. 'Ari? Are you in there?' He knocked on the door and it opened with a creak. It was empty.

Jay sighed in exasperation. At that moment Ari walked in. 'Jay?' he sounded confused. 'What the hell are you doing in my room?'

'Ah,' Jay smiled. 'I need to borrow some money. I'm taking Nessa out.'

Was it his imagination, or did Ari seem reluctant? 'Jay, I can't,' Ari winced. 'I'm bringing Tia out.'
'Wait a minute,' Jay blinked. 'Tia? As in Spitfire Tia?'

Ari grinned. 'Do you know another Tia?' He grabbed his jacket. 'Sorry, but this time you're flying solo.' He left the room, leaving Jay with his mouth hanging open. Ari was dating Tia? God, what the hell is happening with the world?

Fuming, Jay retreated to the rec room, where Heinz, Edward, Reina and Max were playing Monopoly. 'Hey, Jay-Jay,' Reina called. 'Monopoly. Wanna play?'

'Nah, I'll pass,' Jay said, positioning himself against the windowsill. Damn, how was he gonna bring Nessa out today?

All of a sudden, an envelope dropped right in front of his face. Jay looked up. Alix was standing in front of him. 'It should be enough,' she said.

It took Jay two seconds to realize she was talking about the envelope. Picking it up, he opened it and found it full of cash. 'Alix, I................'

His sister held up a hand to silence him. 'Don't say a word. I'm just doing it so that I won't have to suffer from your emotions any longer. Now please-------GO!'

Grinning, Jay kept the cash and strolled out of there, whistling. Alix exhaled. One problem solved. Without watching where she was going, she found herself walking into the elevator leading down into the sub-levels, surprising her parents and the rest of the first X-Men in the War Room. 'Oh, sorry,' Alix said hastily. 'I just uh, I'll be going now.' She turned to leave, but Scott Summers spoke up. 'Alix, stay.'

Alix blinked. 'Huh?' Okay, she's telempathic, but she didn't see that coming.

'Stay,' Scott said again. 'I want you to see something.' He beckoned his daughter closer to the table. 'What do you feel about it?'

Frowning, Alix thought it was a strange question, but the next second she realized that her father was asking her what she felt about it, literally. Alix closed her eyes as a wave of emotions embraced her. 'Something's wrong, is it?'

Next to her, Rahne Sinclair nodded. 'Aye. Scanners picked up a certain someone. Namely--'

'Erik Magnus Lensherr,' Storm finished. 'Magneto.'

'As I was saying,' Scott continued. 'We think that Magneto is--' he looked at his daughter. 'Alix? Is something wrong?'

Alix had her eyes closed, eyebrow furrowed as thought battling against some unseen enemy in her head. She relaxed after a while. 'Yeah, I'm fine,' she said, willing her breathing to stay normal.

Logan had a gentle expression on his face. 'Maybe you should sit this one out, kiddo,' he said quietly. Alix nodded. 'I think I will. Thanks, though, for everything.'

Her dad flashed her another smile before continuing his conversation with the X-Men. Alix escaped from the War Room, skidding to a stop around a corner as she slowly reached out with her mind. The War Room was filled with mild bemusement, but it was nothing Alix couldn't handle. She knew she felt something back there, some New Mutant presence. Only thing was, this New Mutant didn't feel at all New.

She knew that something was going to happen soon. Something bad.

Hesitatingly, Alix checked out the rest of the hall. All clear. Focusing on her power, she bent and refracted the light around her, rendering her invisible. Grinning, she made her way down the hall.

This was a little secret she'd never revealed. Alix had been Chromatic ever since she was eight ten years ago. It meant that she was able to manipulate light to her purpose, be it making her invisible, shooting lasers, or even creating flashes of light bright enough to blind someone.

Cautiously, the now-invisible Alix walked towards the Cerebro Chamber. From what her parents told her, Cerebro was made by Professor Xavier and Magneto. But it had been almost six years since Prof. X died trying to stop his son David's evil personality Lucas [confusing, huh?] from killing the mutants in the school. Magneto, in the meanwhile, was now in hiding, but from what she sensed from Scott, he was now quite active.

And I wonder why? Alix thought as she stopped in front of the Chamber. She became visible again, this time using her Illusionists powers to conjure an image of Prof. X in front of the eye scanner.

Actually, she really didn't have to go through that much trouble. She could've just astral projected herself into the Chamber, but Alix wasn't ready to risk it again. The last time she did that, she got yanked back telekinetic and telepathically into her body when her mom found out what she did. Apparently, her mom was wondering why she [technically, it was her body] was crouched at the base of the wall with her pupils turning black instead of the blue they were.

Alix would've gotten herself grounded for life if she hadn't erased her mom's memories. For some reason, she wasn't cool when people found out little things about her.

Neways, the scanner read Prof. X's pupils and granted him access. Smiling, Alix entered the Chamber, the sliding doors closing silently behind her. Kneeling down, she put on the headset, and for the second time in her life, allowed her defenses to dissappear, her telempathic abilities to broaden.

Gasping for air, Alix was pulled into another place, where she saw people and mutants, combined. People showed up in black-and-white, but mutants were in colour. Her gaze landed on Emma, her sister who was in Massachusetts; on Ari and Tia, who were watching a movie together; on Jay and Nessa, eating ice cream at the shop around the coner; on...

No, Alix's instinct told her. It simply wasn't possible. But it was.

She saw David Charles Haller, Xavier's son, and Magneto, and another guy whose name she didn't know, but the answer came to her a second later. Optical.

Alix inhaled, but stopped mid-breath when she heard a familiar voice calling her.

Alexzandria, help me.

Alix blinked again, ready to pull the headset off, when she recognized the voice. It was familiar, a voice she hadn't heard in six years, but still familiar nonetheless.

'Professor Xavier?'

hehehehe, what's gonna happen next? Tune in for the next chapter of The X-Men: The Future Generation.

The Spyz Agents: Before It Happened

Danika Rey threw her book down angrily when she saw Jensen Walsh. 'Yo, Jensen,' she called, walking up to him. 'What was that about?'

Jensen looked bemused. 'What was what about?' he asked cluelessly. Danika gave an exasperated sigh. 'Don't play dumb, Walsh. You pulled back on purpose during the obstacle course. The only reason that you would do that is because--'

'Because what?' Jensen burst out hotly. 'Because the other teams bribed me to lose? Look, Danika, I don't want this to happen either, ok? I'm just as down as you are on this. Stop criticizing me, Boss. I can take care of my own.'

He turned to walk off, but he stopped short when someone blocked his way. 'Don't you dare, Jensen,' said a quiet voice.

Jensen looked into Taylor Ashford's ice blue eyes. They were calm and cold, without a hint of emotion in them. Her eyes were flashing a warning at him. 'Jensen...' she spoke quietly. Taylor always spoke quietly. She only ever raised her voice behind a closed door, and even then it was nothing beside Danika's.

'Get out of my way!' he snarled, pushing Taylor aside. Unexpectedly, she didn't fall to the ground like most people. She kept standing there, unperturbed by his words. Jensen was about to scream himself hoarse. 'Get out! GET OUT!'

'No,' Sam said, taking her spot beside Taylor and Danika. Tall, tanned and blonde, Sam was anything but a bimbo. Besides having a photographic memory, Samantha de Hercules Conqueta had the ability to pull apart and fix anything you want. Sam continued. 'I think you owe Taylor an apology.'

'Hey,' Daniel Rivers spotted the commotion. 'What's up?' As he neared, he saw Jensen grimacing. Daniel took one look and immediately back off.

'What's the matter?' Jensen taunted. 'Scared off three chicks, Daniel?'

Danika gritted her teeth. 'Shut up.'

Jensen grinned again; his bravado was coming back. 'Yeah. Shut up, shut up,' he said, adopting a high-pitched voice that sounded eeriely like a girl's. Sam blinked in surprise. Taylor was, as usual, emotionless. 'Don't cross the line, Jensen,' she warned again.

Then she struck.

Taylor's hands were a blur as she grabbed Jensen's wrists and kicked out his legs from under him at the same time, the move that would cause him to drop to the floor if she hadn't had his hands in her firm grip. 'I would apologize if I were you,' Taylor remarked, letting loose her grip on him. Jensen hit the floor like a sack of potatoes.

A very, very heavy sack of potatoes.

As Taylor looked down at Jensen, Sam noticed the silver ID bracelet on Taylor's left wrist. Not knowing before that Taylor was ambidextrous created an interest in Sam, but she felt herself drawn to the ID bracelet.

As she had said earlier, the bracelet was silver, but what intrigued Sam the most were the words written on it in plain, Italic scrip: Mutatis Mutandis. Frowning, Sam tried to figure it out. From what she could figure out, it meant, "With those things changed which needed to be changed."

Before she could say any more, Taylor had left the room, leaving behind a laughing Danika, a Jensen who was deeply in pain, and more questions than Sam could answer.

___________________________________________________________________

Later, Danika approached the rec room, where Sam, Daniel and Marcus Fitzpatrick were resting. Jensen and Taylor were nowhere to be seen. Daniel and Marc were watching a footbal match on the TV, but Sam was deep in thought. Danika saw the thinking lines appear on her friend's forehead and decided to cheer her up.

'There you go,' she said cheerily, pouring a cup of hot chocolate and giving it to Sam. 'Penny for your thoughts?'

Sam looked up. 'Did you notice that Taylor's ambidextrous?'

Danika started. 'Wait, seriously?' Sam nodded. Danika blinked. 'We-ll, considering how open Taylor is with her personal life...' she left the sentence hanging.

'Point taken.' Sam sat up straight as she faced Danika. 'Today, when she tackled Jensen, I noticed this ID bracelet on her left wrist. It had the words, "Mutatis Mutandis" on them, like some kind of motto or something. I caught sight of something else on the other side of the bracelet, and it's kinda like this.' Sam took out a pen and paper and wrote down the words, Casu Consulto. 'I have no idea what it means,' she confessed. 'I don't exactly have a major in Latin.'

Danika frowned. 'I might have an idea,' she said slowly. 'Let me get back to you.'

-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

Taylor sat down opposite Chris Perry. Dressed in a blue turtleneck and black jacket, Chris was every bit the charming gentleman. After seating her, he had ordered steak au poivre for both of them.

'So,' Chris began as he sipped at his wine. 'How have you been?'

'Just fine,' Taylor commented, silently cursing the fact that she was underage and could not consume alcohol, unlike Russia, where was no minumum age limit for alcohol consumption. She sipped gloomily at her glass of water instead. 'Have you done it for me?'

'Of course,' Chris smiled, taking out a small velvet-lined box from his pocket. Giving it to Taylor, he watched her reaction as she removed the silver ring inside. '"Semper et aeternus,"' she read, looking at the inscription inside the ring. She looked at Chris, who gave a soft grin.

'Always and forever.'

Taylor appeared to be delighted with the ring. 'Thanks,' she said softly, as the waiter arrived with their steak au poivre. When he neared, she accidentally knocked her glass of water, causing it to drop. But before it touched the floor, Chris's hand appeared and caught the glass. He set it back on the table as the waiter served them their meal. Chris waited for the waiter to leave before looking sternly at Taylor. 'Was that done casu consulto?'

She looked back at him incredolously. 'Of course not. I would never do anything accidentally on purpose!'

'Really?' Chris raised his eyebrow as he picked up his knife. 'If that's the case, then why is it your motto?'

'What, like yours is so grand.' Taylor rolled her eyes. 'Inter Primos. Among the First.'

Chris grinned, cutting his steak. 'Actually Inter Primos is my family motto. My personal one is "Id quot circumiret, circumveniat."'

'Oh really?' Taylor took a bite. 'And what does that mean?'

'What goes around, comes around.'

'Hmm,' Taylor sniffed. 'Sounds a bit like rural gossip to me.'

Chris laughed.

P.S. This story is set before Nathan Kerensky, Brodie Sparks and Chris Perry entered Team Code X. Also set before the betrayal of Jensen Walsh and Marcus Fitzpatrick. Basically this is the time when the spies were a couple of years younger.

The Spyz Agents: Chris Perry Tells All

Chris Perry smiled at the Welsh Springer Spaniel beside him. 'What do you think of this place, Jemmy?' he asked, jerking his head to the plot of land behind him. 'Do you think it's nice?'

Jemmy cocked its head and stared at Chris. The dog gave Chris the impression that Jemmy didn't care a bit about the land. Chris grew stern. 'Well, give me an answer.'

'Are you expecting the dog to talk to you?' said a voice.

Chris turned around to see Samantha de Hercules Conqueta, a member of Code X, smiling at him. 'Hey,' he said, leaving Jemmy as he walked towards Sam. 'What are you doing here?'

'Did you really have to ask?' Sam said in mock surprise. 'I thought you knew. Remember the Outdoor Week?'

Chris groaned. 'Right.' The Outdoor Week was what the students at Kelstorm Academy called the week-long conference that was currently taking place. Due to the amount of pressure inside the building, the student body seemingly decided as a whole to celebrate the week outdoors. 'What's the whole point of the meeting?'

'Not sure,' Sam said. She grinned at the dog. 'Is he yours?'

'Nope,' Chris laughed. 'Jemmy belongs to Taylor. I'm just helping her walk him.'

Sam raised an eyebrow. 'Speaking of Taylor, where's Her Majesty the Ice Queen?'

'Nowhere to be seen at the moment,' Chris grinned. 'If she heard that, you might not be here anymore.'

'I'll take my chances.' Sam turned back to where the others were waiting. 'Come join?'

Just as Chris was about to answer, he saw something that made him frown. 'Damn.'

What happens next? Give me ideas ppl.

The Spyz Agents: Taylor's Story of Origin [Part 5]

There were six masked figures right in front of Taylor. Six to two. Not a fair fight, but who cares?

'Who are you?' Leo cried out again, squinting at the darkness. He turned to his sister, who was gently making a patting motion in the air. He knew that it meant to be silent, but he blinked when he saw Taylor's hand moving, like she was ushering someone. Catching Taylor's eye, he mouthed the words, Are you sure? She nodded.

Giving an A-OK sign by joining his thumb and forefinger together, Leo started talking to distract the intruders. 'What's the matter, huh? Suddenly scared outta your wits? And I thought you were so daring back then!'

Meanwhile, Taylor raised her Beretta 501, and placed her eye at the scope. She found her target, and squeezed the trigger. She shot the first guy in the chest. As fast as lightning, her hands worked the bolt, manually extracting the first casing. Just as quickly she shot the next figure, this time aiming for the leg. She took the other three with shots to the leg as well.

Just as Taylor was going for the last guy, she heard a loud click, and cursed inwardly. Her magazine was out of bullets. Her hand went for the spare magazine while her other hand removed the empty one. In one fluid motion she replaced the magazine and dropped the other onto the ground. It made a loud crack.

Out of the blue the last guy came forward, twisting Taylor's hands so that the gun, which had been her ally until then, trapped her hands behind her, causing Taylor to flinch in pain. The masked man pulled gently, just enough to tug Taylor towards him, back against his chest. There was a loud crack of gunfire, and both looked up to see Leo aiming his gun at them. The man chuckled softly.

'Leo certainly remembered what I taught him,' he said, kissing Taylor's cheek. Taylor's breath caught in her throat. She knew that voice! It continued. 'But I expected less than what you gave. I didn't expect you to shoot us all, Red. I underestimated you. You've grown. For the better.' He let her go, and she turned around to face him. Pulling off the ski map he wore, Taylor looked at Chris Perry. 'Chris? What are you doing here?' she shook her head wearily, showing for the first time signs of weariness; a touch of fatigue crept into her voice.

Chris looked back at her. 'Hey,' he chided. 'You've been dragging again, haven't you?' He didn't recieve an answer. 'Tay...'

'Fine!' Taylor shot out. 'I haven't been sleeping for two days just to plan this, okay?' She lowered her voice. 'I've waited so long for this chance. I can't afford to lose it.'

'Okay,' Chris said, taking a step back. 'Just let me come with you. No, no, you don't get to overrule it,' he said, holding up a hand to stop the stream of indignation from Taylor. 'You let me come, I'll deliver him to you. Personally.'

'What about them?' Leo's voice broke through, instantly reminding Taylor and Chris that they weren't alone. Chris had a sneaking suspicion that Leo was listening in on the conversation. Then again, who can resist? He looked at the bunch of figures lying on the floor, and realized with a start that he forgot about them. 'Guys,' he called. 'You can get up now.'

'Thank you God!' someone muttered. Taylor strained her ears. 'Wait. Danika? What are--' she did a double take as she came face-to-face with the rest of Code X. 'Daniel...Brodie...Nathan...Sam...What the hell--?' she pounced on Chris. 'What have you done?'

Chris was, to give him credit, looking calm and at ease. 'We're here to assist you in your mission.'

'This is not a freaking mission!' Leo interrupted hotly, drawing attention to himself. 'I'm taking charge here! My sister and I will do what we do best. We don't need your help.'

'He's right,' Taylor said, her voice becoming cold once more. 'We don't need your help.'

Everyone looked at Chris. He was, after all, the one who called the shots. 'Taylor,' he began. 'Look, I know how much this means to you, but just let us do this with you.'

It seemed to take an eternity, but after exchanging several words with her brother, Taylor nodded. 'Okay. You're in. All of you.'

'So,' Brodie asked as he pulled out his Glock. 'What's the plan?'

Leo gave a smile that showed all his teeth. 'We get in, and kill the man who killed my mom. Easy-peasy.'

The Spyz Agents: Taylor's Story of Origin [Part 4]

'Look, Taylor, are you sure about this?'

'As sure as I'll ever be,' Taylor replied. She took out what resembled a suitcase from her bag, but Leo recognized it as an M24 Sniper Weapon System. Silently, he watched as his sister started assembling the weapon. She attached a telescopic sight complete with detachable iron sights onto the M24. When she was done, she started working on her Beretta 501 sniper rifle. It was made in Italy, and it had been her fifteenth birthday present from her uncle Ambrose. Loading it with bullets, Taylor turned to her brother. 'Are you okay?'

'Yep,' Leo showed his sister the Heckler & Koch PSG1 he'd brought along. He bought the German-made sniper rifle a couple of years ago when he went after Yoan Nguen, a man who was responsible for killing five of his friends when Nguen set explosives on the buidling where Leo's pals were partying.

'Good.' His sister wasted no time. 'Let's go.'

The twins were on the top part of an abandoned church situated several hundred yards away from the house Victor Graham had occupied for the time being. Taylor had situated several other rifles at different places of the church, most of them aiming for either vital/danger spots, places Graham would probably be in case of an attack, and important exit points for a clean getaway.

They were controlled by a remote control. Besides that, the telescopic vision of the rifles also doubled as cameras that allowed Taylor or Leo to see what was happening at all times. By pressing several buttons on the remote, the twins could move the guns around to get better views.

Leo picked up his gun and slung it over his shoulder. Taylor did the same with the Beretta. Holding the M24 in her gloved hand, she threw something to Leo. It turned out to be a Sig Sauer P226. Leo grinned. 'Time to play.'

'Not quite,' said a voice. The siblings swung around, guns in the air. 'Who are you?' Leo called out. There was the sound of someone laughing softly, accompanied by different snickers. Taylor cursed inwardly as she realized there was more than three people present. She didn't recognized the voice. Which meant it had to be a stranger. Silently, she signalled to Leo to switch the scope to night vision.

Yep, there were more than three people alright. Taylor peered through the scope, trying to make out who it was. When she saw who it was, she couldn't help but gasped. She leaned her head backward. 'Damn!'

Who is the mysterious group of people who are bent on jeopardizing the twins' mission to avenge their mom? Find out in the next episode of The Spyz Agents: Taylor's Story of Origin [Part 4], brought to you by TalkUStuff Channel.

Weird And Crazy Dream

A few nights ago I had this weird dream. I'm at this mall, where I'm looking down at this walkway with electronic shops on both sides. All of a sudden, Emma deLauro and Shalimar Fox from Mutant X (Lauren Lee Smith and Victoria Pratt respectively) appear right in front of me. It's kinda like I knew them or something.

Then we saw these lizard look-alike creatures coming towards us from the other end of the walkway. And then Emma turned to me and said, 'We need the Body Fibre. Where is it?'

I went like, 'I don't know, I had it earlier.' [Later when I was more awake I kept running the dream thru my mind and I was really surprised that I knew the female members of Mutant X. Also later I typed 'Body Fibre' into Google.com and nothing came up! Whoa!]

To continue, I turned around and found myself face-to-face with Daniel Rivers, a character in my Spyz Agents story, and he had his arm in a sling. And the sling was the Body Fibre [wtvr the thing was] which he had taken from me. For some reason the words, 'The Body Fibre is extremely soft to the touch' keep coming to me whenever I think about this part.

Neways, he gave me the BF and I passed it to Shal, who [somehow] managed to get the thing onto us like a second skin. [By the way, I hv no idea what BF can do. Dun even noe why we're supposed to wear it. If u hv any suggestions for the purpose of BF, pls let me noe.] And then me, Emma and Shal were grouped together, Emma in front of me and Shal.

All of a sudden, Emma had this type of gun in front of her [again, I forgot how the gun looks like, but I dunno what it does, and it's kinda funky-looking. That much I can remember.]

Anyways we were grouped like this: Emma was in the front, holding the gun. Me and Shal were behind her, one hand on her shoulder. All cloaked in Body Fibre. And as the lizard thingies started running towards us, Emma shot them while me and Shal directed her to any stray lizard guys.

Then suddenly we were running backwards. Daniel Rivers is gone. We started running up an escalator. I couldn't see Shal but I still had one hand on Emma's shoulder. Then we saw a huge swarm of lizards-menace coming down the escalator. For some reason then, I suddenly realized I was telekinetic [must be the after-effects of thinking about X-Men too much. I even went so far as to go and write a whole new sequel for X-Men.]

So, as I was telekinetic, I grabbed Emma's arm and telekinetically lifted her up. So we were basically levitating. And I was like, 'OMG! I'm telekinetic!'

The rest of the dream's a little fuzzy, but I remember [vaguely] having gone to some place which looks eeriely like my school, and then from there we went on to this castle thingy and ended up in this olden days Chinese chalet where someone wanted to kill us. Along the way I remember Marc St James [from Ugly Betty] along the road.

Will someone let me know if I'm hallucinating?

The Spyz Agents: Taylor's Story of Origin [Part 3]

'It's Victor Graham. The man who killed Mom.'

The words rang in Taylor's ears. Victor Graham? Alive? He didn't deserve to live. Word has it that he left for Scotland after the deed. And he should know well enough that the moment he returned to America, Taylor and Leo would be after him.

With a vengence deadlier than the deadliest poison.

'Are you sure?'

'Positive,' Leo nodded furiously. 'He's definitely back in town.' He looked out of the window. 'I'm gonna get him. I'm definitely gonna get him. Soon.' He spat the word out in disgust.

'Good for you,' Taylor said, her eyes steeled. 'Count me in.' Without a word, she took out the Zippo lighter in her pocket, and started to manipulate it, her blood boiling, yet keeping an aloof expression on her face. The Zippo lighter was a gift from her brother Drew, who used to joke that when Taylor got that murderous look on her face, she would act so cold, she needed a lighter to warm her back up.

His breath catching in his throat, Leo looked at his sister, silently remembering the day their mother died.

It had been the twins' eighth birthday. Back then, in Russia, before they made new names and identities for themselves, Taylor and Leo were known as Anya Ivanovna and Alexei Ivanov respectively.

Their grandfather Alexander had thrown a huge party in their honor. And their mother Alix had just finished singing the Ivanov family song, an anthem sacred to the members of the Ivanov clan. Anya had been talking to her elder brothers Andrei, and Viktor, and her sister Emma. Alexei had been hanging around their father, Nicholas and the tall birthday cake when he ran towards his siblings, urging them that it was time to cut the cake.

At this time, Anya had missed her mother. Seeing Alix answering the front door, the girl ran towards her mom, but blinked in surprise when a man, later to be known as Victor Graham, emptied a whole magazine of bullets into Alix, who, realizing the danger too late, hurried to remove a pistol she'd always carried for protection.

Anya watched as her mother went down, with Graham grinning evilly. Noticing the pistol still in her mother's hand, Anya grabbed it without thinking and fired wildly. Out of the five shots she gave out, only two found their mark. One got lodged in Graham's upper arm, while the other nicked a nerve in his leg, causing him later to walk with a permanant limp.

At that moment, her family, not to mention the guests at the party, hurried to the door. Dropping the gun, Anya immediately ran to her mother's side, where her brother found her, listening to Alix's last words. Anya promised Alix that she would be strong, that she would protect her family at all costs. Unknown to Alix, however, Anya also promised silently to avenge her mother.

With a vengence deadlier than the deadliest poison.

Now, Taylor closed her eyes slowly, remembering the events of this fateful day. She never celebrated her birthday after that, and she didn't even attend her mother's funeral. She became strong and cold, waiting for the chance to kill the man she wanted dead.

'Taylor?'

Her brother's voice shook her from her memories. 'Yes?' she answered.

Leo hesitated. 'Look, I know you'll probably think I'm totally intruding but ever since Mom died, you've been so cold, like you're waiting to kill the guy who killed Mom.'

'I am.' It was so blunt, Leo seemed surprised. Taylor smiled softly at the look on her brother's face, but the smile faded slowly when she heard what he had to say next. 'And that's the other thing.'

'What other thing?'

'It's kinda hard to say...'

'Tell me.' Taylor snapped her Zippo lighter shut.

'Well, it's just that--'

'What?'

Leo seemed almost disappointed. 'It's just that...'

Taylor inhaled. She knew it was coming. 'Just say it.'

'I noticed that,' there was deep anguish reflected in Leo's blue eyes. 'All these while, you've never once...even as a little girl...grieved for Mom.'

The Spyz Agents: Taylor's Story of Origin [Part 2]

Taylor stared at her twin brother. Leo was wearing what he always wore: hooded jacket and shirt. His red hair was untidy, and his facial expression was tense. But his eyes showed her an emotion that Taylor knew was forbidden within the family.

It was one of fear.

Shaking her head, Taylor silently led her brother into her room. Sitting down on her bed, she looked at her twin again. 'Leo,' she began softly. 'What happened?'

Leo turned to his sister. Their whole life, she had always been there to protect him from everything. Monsters under the bed when they were kids, bullies who resented their intelligence in summer camp, senior officers in the military facility who didn't like their connection to two of the topmost generals in Russia. Yep, Taylor was always there for him.

Taylor touched her brother's cheek gently, concern evident in her eyes. 'Leo, if there's something wrong, you know that you can always tell me. What happened?'

Strangely now, Leo was reluctant to speak. All he wanted was to cuddle up to his sister, reminiscing their childhood today, and just...Leo inhaled, relax. Just relax.

'Leo?'

He opened his eyes. No matter what happened, he had to tell her the truth. 'Taylor...' he stood up and started pacing. 'Taylor, he's....he's back.' He spat out the words in disgust and, Taylor noticed, fear.

'Who?' Taylor rose to her feet, her hands holding Leo's face, forcing him to look into her eyes. 'Who's back?'

There was a suspicious hint of moisture in her brother's royal ice blue eyes. He blinked quickly, refusing to break down. When he opened his eyes again, they were cold. Very cold.

'It's Viictor Graham,' he said, his voice sharp, as his eyes steeled. Taylor looked back at him with the same, cold eyes. 'It's Victor Graham,' Leo repeated coldly. 'The man who killed Mom.'

P.S. The reason why I changed Zachary Potter's name to Victor Graham is because a) My friend who read the post wanted me to give him a different name and b) because I just realized that I'd already changed his name to Victor Graham in my main story [The Spyz Agents] but I forgot what name I gave him.

The Spyz Agents: Taylor's Story of Origin.

Taylor looked out of the window, watching her friends playing in the snow outside. Danika and Sam were busy making forts in the snow, while Daniel, Nathan and Brodie were making snowballs for the fight later on. Turning her head, Taylor directed her attention to Mitch and Elliot Aidan, the only pair of brothers who were captains of their own teams.

She watched as Mitch and Elliot wrestled in the snow, laughing to their hearts' content. Without thinking, Taylor's mind flew back to the last time she was as happy as the Aidan brothers. Without thinking, she let her guard down, just to savor some memories otherwise long forgotten.
It happened three years ago. Taylor had taken a couple of weeks off from work. Wanting to do some brother-sister bonding with her twin, she had roped Leo into meeting her on top of the hill behind the house, overloooking that particular piece of land. Leo was strangely reluctant to do so, but Taylor understood. He had always been that way ever since their mom died on their eighth birthday.

No matter. In the end Taylor managed to get him out of the house. She could see him now: red hair, blue eyes, wearing a plain cotton shirt and his hooded jacket. He was wary of the whole plan, which was normal considering that the twins were constantly hunted their whole life because of their mother, who was the Director of the FSB (Russian Intelligence) before she died.

Despite her previous eagerness, Taylor was also experiencing butterflies in her stomach. She loved her twin to bits, more than she could ever love anyone, and she'd sworn to protect him forever, but now it seemed that no matter what she did, every decision she made, it always ended up with him getting separated from her.

But she needn't have worried. Despite some initial awkwardness, the twins hit it off wonderfully. It was so much fun that they made a pact to do it again soon. Real soon. Taylor even extended an invitation for Leo to visit her in Spyz, a thing she's never done with a family member before. Taylor smiled at the memory.

At that moment, she heard someone calling her name. 'Tay,' Danika yelled. 'Someone's here to see you.'

'Be right down,' Taylor yelled back, grabbing her coat. When she reached the foyer, she took a closer look at the visitor. 'Leo? Is that really you?'

What happened to Leo? Find out in the next episode of 'Taylor's Story of Origin.'

Hey everyone. Today me pal Danika helped me make this new blog (for some reason; I'm not a blog fanatic) and she's helping me to customize everything. Yeah, yeah, I'm a dunce at all this computer stuff. Must remember www.imeem.com Cool site for uploading songs into yr blogs. Never knew how to do that before.

Before we go any furthur, my name is Taylor Ashford. I'm a spy working for Spyz Agency. (Yeah, right) And I am nearing the elite level. (everyone, roll yr eyes to show we know she's a liar).

That's me, the lying spy wanna-be. But, hey, what's it to you? I mean, who gave you the authority to judge what I write or don't write? It's my life to live, not yours, buddy. Besides, if anyone'sdoing any judging, it's gonna be me.....and Danika.

By the time you've read until this paragraph, you will probably understand that I am talking crap. Yeah, the first blog entry and I'm talking crap. What am I thinking? Well, not clearly would be at the top of my list.

So anyway, thanks for listening in on 'TalkUStuff' Channel. This is your host, Taylor Ashford. Thank you, and good bye.
