The X-Men: The Future Generation [Part 8]
Played to wake the sleepers oldest of the old;
Power from the green witch, lost beneath the sea,
All shall find the light at last, silver on the tree.
Alix frowned as she tapped into Cerebro's mutant-seeking power. The pain was becoming harder to resist. To calm herself down, she decided to do what Uncle Kurt Wagner always did. 'I recite a lot of psalms from the Bible when I'm feeling insecure,' Kurt had once told her. Okay, Alix thought to herself. Here goes.
'The Lord is my Shepard, I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of the death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me...' Alix broke away at this time. Despite what Kurt had said, she couldn't focus on it. A mutant reciting David's Song...somehow it didn't seem right. Her mind flew to a song she'd heard, so enchanting yet familiar, like she'd heard it from a dream.
The pain hit again, forcing Alix back to reality. She inhaled sharply as she noted the individual mutants everywhere, but the more she looked, the more painful it became. It was as though her mind was telling her not to search any furthur, but she had to, she had to find David, or Lucas, she surmised, considering the dominant personality who'd taken over David previously.
'Focus,' she chided herself. 'Focus.' She pressed forward, urging her mind's eye to continue searching, while she focused again on the song she'd previously zoomed in on before the pain attack: the Song of Exile.
Taking a deep breath, Alix scanned for David/Lucas, as she started to sing the song to calm her down. 'Land of bear and land of eagle, land that gave us birth and blessing.' A sharp stab of pain hit her. She blinked away the tears.
Land of bear and land of eagle,
Land that gave us birth and blessing.
Land that calls us ever homeward,
We will go home across the mountain.
We will go home, we will go home,
We will go home across the mountains.
We will go home, we will go home,
We will go home across the mountains.
It was Chris, telepathically joining in. She felt relieved that he was holding onto her, and she continued with the next verses telepathically.
Hear our singing, hear our longing,
We will go home across the mountains.
Land of wolf and land of falcon,
Roaming swiftly to their families.
Gave us joy and gave us laughter,
We will go home across the mountains.
Suddenly, Alix struck gold. She found David/Lucas! Yes, she hissed telepathically. Letting down her defenses, she wasn't prepared for the next pain attack, but Chris was, and he took the pain from her.
Sorry, she apologized sheepishly.
Focus, he replied back.
Still sheepish, Alix turned back to David/Lucas. She saw him standing there with someone she knew as Optical, and several members of the Brotherhood, including Wanda Maximoff and her brother. She strained to hear what they were saying, but suddenly the pain was so much she wrenched the headset off her head and screamed in horror.
Calm down, Chris' voice came again. He started reciting a passage he'd read in one of his King Arthur books: Chris is a big fan of Arthurian Legends.
Inside the circle of the table, under the holy sword, a knight must swear he will obey to the eternal code, eternal as the table, a ring bound to honour.
Alix replaced the headset again, and strained to listen to the conversation between David/Lucas, Optical, and the Maximoff siblings.
A knight is sworn to valor, his heart knows only virtue, his blade defends the helpless, his might upholds the weak, his word speaks only truth, his wrath undoes the wicked.
Alix stared in horror as she realized what they were talking about.
The right can never die, if a man still remembers him. Words are not forgotten, if a voice pronounce them clearly, The Code always shines, if a heart preserves it brightly...
The Old Code....
The door to the Cerebro chamber opened, and Chris entered. He saw Alix kneeling on the floor, the headset replaced on the small table where it resided. He knelt down beside her and look at her, concern reflected in his eyes. 'What is it?'
Alix looked at him, for the first time, her defenses were totally down, and he knew she was extremely vulnerable. But it was also the first time Chris had seen her this way. 'It's Uncle Remy and Alison Blaire. They took them. I heard them say they'd killed them.'

The X-Men: The Future Generation [Part 7]
Behind them, Reina and Edward were smiling. After Ari brought Angela back to the X-Jet, he's introduced her to Reina Anderson and Edward Thomas. Reina had the ability to manipulate water, while Ed had X-Ray and heat vision. He thought his ability was quite tame, but Angela absorbed everything like a sponge. Interacting with other mutants who actually liked her was a first for her.
Ari pressed a button on the control panel of the X-Jet, and the basketball court split into half, revealing a launch pad directly underneath. Gently, he landed the jet so that it was directly on the launch pad. The moment the jet touched the launch pad, the stairway opened with a hiss, allowing Angela, Ari, Reina and Ed to exit the jet.
'Oh my god...' Angela repeated, looking at the silver-coloured walls. As they entered a hallway, Angela's attention was taken up by the rows of black leather suits on various mannequins encased in glass cases. She glanced at the row of built-in drawers and shelves that had clothing neatly folded and stacked on them. Reina grabbed one article off the shelf nearest to her and gave it to Angela. It turned out to be a hooded jacket with the X-Men logo on the left breast pocket.
'Welcome to Mutant High,' Ed announced. Angela seemed stunned by the gift until she heard Ari's voice. 'Put it on,' he suggested. Shrugging the jacket on, Angela grinned at the gift.
You'd better hurry up, said a female voice. Angela swung around to see where it was coming from, but saw no one besides the four of them. Bring her up, the voice continued. Ororo's waiting for her in class.
Okay, Ari replied back without opening his mouth. Angela blinked. How did he do that?
Reina smiled. 'That was Alix.' she explained. 'Ari's sister. She's the telepathic. Come on. They're waiting for you.' She held out her hand. Slowly, Angela took it.

Alix looked at the rest of the class. Max and Candice were busy arguing about something, with Megan egging them on. Her brother, Jay was playing poker with Nessa and Heinz, while Tia was battling Alix in a game of chess. The glass chess set was in front of them, and Tia frowned, debating inwardly. She finally pushed her knight forward in front of one of Alix's bishops, in a position to check Alix's king. 'Check.' Tia announced.
Without looking, Alix's queen moved telekinetically towards the opening Tia's knight had left, leaving Tia's king exposed. 'Checkmate,' she said dully.
'No way,' Tia moaned. 'You're better at chess than me. I want a rematch.'
'You got it,' Alix said quickly, straightening up as Ari, Reina and Ed walked in, followed by a young girl with long dark hair and brown eyes. Ororo Munroe, their class teacher, entered also. 'Class,' Ororo announced. 'This is Angela Victor. She's a cryokinetic.'
Everyone's eyes sparked up with interest. Ororo beckoned Angela to a desk behind Max. 'Why don't you sit there, Angela?'
Shrugging, Angela took the seat. She glanced around, and saw a dark haired girl with very bright hazel eyes grinning at her. As Ororo began to teach, Angela watched as the girl held out her palm, and all of a sudden, a small flame was dancing merrily.
'Hi,' the girl said. 'I'm Tia.'
'Angela,' she replied. 'But...you knew that.'
Tia nodded. 'Max is in front of you.' Max turned around and flashed a smile. 'He's geokinetic,' Tia explained. 'Controls the earth. On your other side is Jay Summers, and behind you is Jay's sister, Alix.'
Angela half turned around. Alix was deeply absorbed in her work, head down. Angela turned back to Tia. 'She's also Ari's sister, isn't she?'
'Yep,' Tia smirked. 'Don't be put off by her cool and aloof expression. She's quite nice, really, you just have to get to know her.' Continuing with the introductions, 'that's Megan Washington and Candice Furstenberg up front. They're sisters, but it takes a long story to explain the different last names. Heinz over there has transmogrification as his main power.'
Angela's brain worked hard. 'So he can shape-shift?'
Tia gave an approving look. 'You're good. Yep. And the blonde next to him is Nessa. She's a feline Feral. She had the characteristics of a cat, and of course you know Ari, Reina and Ed.'
'Yeah,' Angela said whispering. 'They picked me up after I was chased by some goons.' She then proceeded to describe the whole incident to Tia, who was amused by it. 'Trust me,' she assured. 'Life at Xavier's is anything but tame. Those two goons were just the beginning.'
'She's right,' Alix said. Angela recognized her voice as the one they'd heard earlier down stairs.
'Hi,' Angela said, offering her hand. Alix winced. 'Sorry. No physical contact, if you don't mind.'
'Ooh-kay,' Angela said, frowning softly. What was with her?
Suddenly Alix's face was twisted in pain, and she clutched her head as she toppled to the ground. Not now, she pleaded silently. Not here.
No use. The pain came quickly, and Alix inhaled. She tried to breathe in, but she got herself caught in a psionic web. All of a sudden, her powers went wack.
Her telekinsis caused all the tables and furniture around her to be thrown back against the wall.
'Get back!' Ororo shouted, causing all the students to crouch down beside her. Jay was confused. 'Alix?' he asked hesitatingly. His sister held up a hand to stop him from coming any furthur. 'No physical contact, Jay, please.' Jay stepped back, hurt.
'I just need a minute,' Alix said quietly, her eyes closed. They watched silently as various objects, including the chessmen she'd been playing earlier, orbited around her like she was the Sun. 'One,' she started counting. 'Two....three...four...'
On 'five' something snapped, and Alix's head throbbed as she was telepathically linked with each person in the class. Her Illusionist powers started projecting images of her childhood on the wall. But then her telempathy struck out, and Alix felt as though she wanted to die.
At first nothing happened. Then....emotions came rushing in like water from a tap. Alix was filled with every emotion of the world, and it was killing her. She cried out again, causing Ari and Jay to flinch. They had yet to see her so vulnerable before. Then something exploded, and Alix's well-kept Chromatic ability was displayed for all in the form of lasers bursting out of her hands, effectively blinding everyone for several moments. When their vision cleared, Alix was gone.
Megan shook her head. 'We so have a problem.'

Alix made her way to the Sub-Levels as quickly as possible. Chris, she cried out telepathically, infusing the single word with the pain she was feeling. Help.
There were sounds of footsteps, and Chris Perry entered the Sub-Levels. 'Lex?' he asked gently.
She looked up when she saw him, and he noticed the inner pain in her eyes, as well as the pain she was radiating off her body.
'I don't know what happened,' she said softly, sobbing. 'I just snapped.' She looked up at him. 'What's happening?'
Chris helplessly shook his head. 'I don't know, Lex. I'll get help.' He knew that it was mistake the moment he voiced it out loud. Alix started shaking her head vigorously. 'No, please. I don't wanna die alone. Just...just take me to Cerebro.'
'Cerebro?' Chris caught onto what she meant. 'You think this has something to do with a mutant?'
'I don't think,' she said quietly. 'I know. Just help me up.'
Nodding, Chris helped her towards Cerebro, infusing her with some of his healing power to numb the pain. Focusing, she opened the door to Cerebro with a flick of her hand. It slid open. Before she went in, she turned to Chris. 'Just hold onto me, okay? '
He forced a grin. 'Okay.' He watched as the doors slid closed behind her. Alix walked to Cerebro, feeling the wave of losing control slowly fading away. She picked up the headpiece, and put it on, finding answers to the questions she had.
The X-Men: The Future Generation [Part 6]
Skidding past an opened gate, Angela cursed inwardly. If the calvary didn't arrive soon (with a capital S) she's be toast--Literally. The two goons were throwing flame after flame of fire at her, and she dodged them. Most missed, but one or two came dangerously close for comfort.
Panting, Angela found herself looking at a dead end. The two goons were right behind her. 'Not so arrogant now, mutant?' one of them taunted. Angela rolled her eyes. Puh-lease. She swung around and gave them a sugar-coated smirk. 'Well, aren't you just the bright observer now, mutant?' she shot back, using the goon's words again him. He turned red.
'What the hell are you talking about?' he demanded. His partner grabbed his arm. 'Shut up, Kaiver. You heard Argo. The girl's messing with your head. We need her alive,' he added urgently for Kaiver's benefit.
Kaiver shook his partner's arm away. 'You shut up, Oran. If she's messing with my head I'll mess with hers.'
Oran shrugged, washing his hands of Kaiver. 'Your funeral, mate. If Carnac finds out you're dead.'
'I don't fear Carnac,' Kaiver said, scoffing. 'I fear no one.'
'Except Christophe,' Oran interjected quietly. 'Everyone fears him.'
'Not me,' Kaiver continued to brag. 'I am Kaiver, the Great, the Strong, the Champion.....'
'You forgot: the Idiot,' said a male voice. Ari Summers stepped forward into the light. He'd been monitering the whole exchange for the past five minutes, and he quickly got bored at the two goons--Kaiver and Oran, was it?--have been bickering at each other.
As he looked around, he caught the eye of the girl--their innocent. She had been watching the whole exchange quite amusedly, and now she was looking at Ari with bemusement. He smiled at her. She blinked.
'Who are you?' Kaiver bellowed, taking charge. Ari sighed. 'The ghost of Christmas Past,' he intoned in a deep voice. Oran chuckled. 'I'm gonna enjoy this one,' he muttered to his partner before turning his eyes on Ari. 'The ghost of Christmas Past, huh? Why not Christmas Future?'
'Because,' Ari lifted his hand. Focusing, he formed a tesla coil that nestled in his palm, the strands of electricity jumping from one finger to another. He grinned as he continued his sentence. 'You don't have a future.' He shot a bolt of electric current at the one called Kaiver. He went down like a bag of bricks.
Oran, obviously the smart one here and no idiot himself, started to conjure fire balls. Quick as a flash he threw them at Ari, who either dodged them or zapped them with his own electricity. He tried to get an opening, but Oran was smart. He threw even more balls of fire, and ari easily sidestepped them, waiting for him to tire.
At last he saw an oppotunity. Oran was weakening. Generating another tesla coil, Ari shot it at the goon. It hit him in the chest, rendering him unconscious, but Oran somehow managed to let loose a hail of fire balls, and they were now raining on top of Ari.
'Watch out!' cried a female voice. Angela was grim. Focusing hard, she held up her hand, and ice started to form a protective shield over Ari, shielding him from the fireballs, which extinguished the moment they hit the ice. Dusting himself, Ari took a look at the half spherical shield, to Angela, and back to the shield again. He flashed a grin. 'Well, at least we now know what category you fall into.'
'What's that?' Angela asked curiously. She was prepared for "Icegirl" or something like that. But what Ari said next completely took her breath away.
'The Quick-Thinking Category.'

Today Is A New Day.....Izzit?
Yesterday Miss Lee the English trainee was nervous coz she had this supervisor coming along to evaluate her teaching performance. Having being warned the day before, I guess everyone pitied to her or something lah...Neways everyone treated her nicely and respected her. When us girls came back from KH the guys went, 'Shhhhhhhhhhhh!!!' Apparently Ms Supervisor showed up early. First time ever the class so obedient.
To cut a long story short we basically did whatever she wanted us to do lor....then we all rushed out after school. We treated her so nice and you know what comment she gave us when she came in today? "Thank you for your cooperation," she said--only her R's are pronounced as L's so it became, 'Thank you fo you coopelashun. You were veli obedient yesterday, but my supervisor said you all when school finis that time veli noisy."
Haihz......=.="
That said, today we [Candice, me, Angela] were discussing something. We were in a group, but Megan and Erina went out to toilet but came back ages later and Erina had to send back the Buku Ponteng so they never discuss with us. The topic was to redesign the Recycle logo and to make sentences using modals [should, could, would, has, have....] about ways to protect the environment.
Neways, we were designing and having fun with colours. Angela had a bunch of highlighters and this really cool black ink pen which we all used Wednesday during KH. Teacher was doing something behind the Bilik Jahitan and everyone else had nothing to do so Candice let me and Erina design our own T-Shirts in Angela's book. [Apparently that was what they were doing during PJK when me and Erina were yakking with Janice.]
Megan's shirt was pink with blue polka dots with a blue cape and the words Mighty Megan right in the middle. Candice's was one with the word I Am A -censored- Candy or somethin like that. Angela's one I forgot, but I remembered Uncle Dick's shirt was a very long V-Neck one with his name on it. Erina designed her shirt to have hearts at one corner of the shirt, and her name horizontally above the hearts. Mine was a hooded thermal varsity--the T-shirt with extensions form the short sleeves in a different colour? Yep that's the one--It was blue in colour and the extensions were purple. I then used Angela's Amazing Black Pen and scribbled Future Kyd across it. It looked pretty futuristic to me.
To get back to the story, today we were designing the Recycle logo when Angela asked if I had written anymore stories. I said I haven't got a chance to but I might today. So I gave the URl of my blog and invited her to check it out.
Well if you're reading this Angela, the next story is for you.

The X-Men: The Future Generation [Part 5]

The pain was getting worse, worse than it used to be. Wincing, Alix tried to lift herself up, even using her telekinesis to help, but only succeeded in sitting up against the car. Her palms were clutched against her head, and Alix was drained.
She was about to drop down again when a familiar feeling washed over her, and she smiled weakly when she realized who it was. 'Chris?'
'Hey, Lex.' Chris Perry said, helping her up. At that moment Emma rushed out of the pharmacy with a small pack of aspirin in her hand. She stopped short when she saw Chris. 'Perry. What the hell are you doing here?' then she saw her sister. 'Alix! Are you alright?'
'She'll be fine,' Chris replied, carrying Alix up and into the car. He got into the back seat with Alix while Emma sat up front. She pulled the car out of the parking spot and hit the highway.
'Okay,' Emma said sharply. 'Explain.'
Chris sighed. 'There's nothing to explain about,' he said in reply to her sentence [it wasn't a question--note the full stop]. 'I saw Alix and I stopped to help her,' he shook his head. 'You know, I'm not the enemy here. Don't be so prejudice.'
'Can't help it, Chris,' Emma spat out venomously, saying his name like a swear word. 'After what happened? You're lucky I didn't kill you then and there!' She was seething, still remembering the time he'd put them all in mortal peril.
His other personalities, Jaseph and Ambrose, had broke loose before, putting them all in danger when Jaseph, who had surfaced after Chris experienced night terrors again, brought to life drawings of a mutant he'd named Aric, who had the power of prescience. Ambrose had surfaced soon after, almost burning the Manor down with his thermal-kinesis.
In the meanwhile, being gifted with prescience, Aric managed to elude every single thing the X-Men had thrown at him, but the biggest problem now was Chris's morphing personalities. When he hit himself with a burst of quintessence aka energy, Chris split into three people: Jaseph, Ambrose and Chris himself.
Later, they managed to figure out that the only way to stop Aric from taking over the world was to tear Jaseph's drawing into half. But being all-knowing, Aric had taken the drawing wiht him when he left.
It had taken several attempts to finally get the drawing back and tear it apart. Aric disappeared into mist, but now everyone has to worry about the post-carnage destruction at the X-Mansion. After taking care of everything, Chris had gracefully bowed out, but Emma knew that her sister still wanted him to come back.
'Look,' Chris winced as his head started to throb. 'Look. I'm sorry at what happened. I know that. But can we just put aside this for Alix? Please?'
Emma sneered. 'Okay. Just don't say I didn't warn you.' She stepped on the gas. The car shot forward, jerking Chris and Alix in the backseat.
And here I thought she'd finally let it go, Chris thought wearily, hitting the back of his head against the headrest. His head throbbed even harder as they made their way back to the X-Mansion.

Jean Grey-Summers looked up from her sandwich the moment Max and Rogue came in, arguing about something that made no sense to Jean.
'The thing is, if he hadn't taken it, he wouldn't be dead,' Max was saying.
'Yeah, but he had taken it, his world would come crashing down,' Rogue argued back. 'Which will you prefer, dying, or the world being smashed into pieces?'
Jean raised a hand, like a child who didn't understand what the teacher was saying. 'Can you guys repeat that?'
Max blinked, then recovered quickly. He wasn't really good with talking to teachers. Rogue answered for him. 'We were just watching the new show--you know, Pick or Die?'
Jean frowned. 'Are we talking in code?'
Rogue let out an exasperated sigh. 'Pick or Die is a semi-reality show. It's about these kids who join a game. And in this game, they have to make choices. But each choice has its pros and cons. The last surviving kid wins. Endgame.'
Jean raised an eyebrow as she returned to her sandwich. 'Hope I'll never have to listen to that channel,' she quipped, keeping an eye on Rogue, who was frowning. All of a sudden, she paused like a statue. Max noticed. 'Dr. Grey?' he asked. 'Are you okay?'
The X-Man breathed in deeply. 'Yeah, yeah I'm fine.' She left the sandwich on the counter without taking a bite. Max and Rogue glanced at it at the same time, gleaming looks in their eyes as they coveted the sandwich. Jean could hear them yelling, but she didn't care. Because she had a bad feeling.
A very bad feeling.

The X-Men: The Future Generation [Part 4]
What's down more likely, Emma thought back gloomily. I can't seem to get this equation right. Everytime I try to do a different one a different answer is produced.
The door opened, and without turning around Emma knew her sister was inside the room. 'What's the equation for?' Alix, her sister, remarked. Emma inhaled. 'Something to do with sodium hydroxide and potassium.' She caught the blank look on Alix's face, and smiled. 'I'm confusing you, aren't I?'
'Not really,' Alix took the chalk and looked at the board. Within a few minutes she managed to produce a satsifying answer. Gasping in disbelief, Emma shuffled through several sheaves of papers, comparing results. She turned to Alix. 'How did you know what the answer was?'
Alix shrugged. 'I didn't. I looked at it and I did it. You tend to complicate things, Em. Why?'
Emma breathed in deeply. 'I think I should take a break. Come with?'
'Yeah.' Walking out the door, Alix pulled on her black calf-length trench coat, while Emma shrugged into her leather jacket. Heading for the garage, the sisters stared at the rows of vehicles. 'Which shall we take?'
'I dunno,' Alix flashed a grin. 'You pick.'
Emma copied her sister's grin. 'Then I know just the vehicle.'
When Logan walked out the next hour, he stormed back into the Manor not five minutes later, yelling at everyone. 'WHERE THE HELL IS MY CAR?'
_______________________________________
Emma chuckled. 'I can almost see Logan right now. Yelling that someone took his bike.' She turned to Alix, who seemed a bit distracted. 'Hello,' Emma said, waving a hand in front of ehr face. 'Are you listening to me?'
'What--oh, yeah,' Alix said, rubbing her head. Emma's eyes immediately flooded with concern. 'Headaches again?'
'Migrains,' Alix corrected. She blinked a couple of times, trying to stop the pain. Emma was getting nervous. 'Still hurting? Do you need some ice or something?' She spotted a pharmacy nearby and parked the car into the nearest spot available. 'Stay here,' she ordered. 'I'll be back soon.'
Alix didn't have the energy to answer. She only thought of the pain in her head. Suddenly the car was stiffling. It was suffocating her. She had to get out!
Pulling the handle, Alix stepped out of the car. It had been snowing, and white crisp snow filled the ground all around her. She was suddenly attacked by a sharp pain in her head, and she tumbled to the ground, oblivious of everything around her.
Why do they make us do things we don't wanna do?
Then Candice and Erina were like, 'Haihz u think her boobs are big u should see Pamela Anderson's.' Then we turned the page and really got Pam Anderson's pix. All of a sudden me and Erina started quoting from Bend It Like Beckham: 'Our designs will make little mosquito bites into juicy, juicy mangoes!' was what a seamstress said when she was taking Jessminder's [one of the two main leads] measurements for the dress for her sister's wedding.
And Erina kept on saying, 'But these arent mangoes---more like watermelons!' Everyone cracked up.
So neways when WBS came they all went for class while I was going thru the mag to see for fashion designs to describe my story characs and all that. Pn. Zarina came in and relief, then after that the English teacher Ms Lee came in. Zarina told us to stay in class though it was her period now [KH] and Ms Lee came in to do some stupid relief. At this time Megan and the rest came back but Meg and Erina later went out to toilet.
At that time I was sick and fed-up already so never talk much, just looking abstractly at Audrey's book when the ML said we were going to discuss 'Ways to Overcome Shyness'. I was like, 'Is this really neccesary?' Then we found out she was going to teach us until SEPTEMBER!!!! Damn!
I was super mad oredi so as I said I didn't talk. Then ML came and talked to us abit about cooperating and blah blah blah wasn't really listening. Then she looked at me and ask me some stupid question. I answered it and said, 'By the way, you pronounced my name wrong.'
And ML went like, 'How do you pronounce it?' I told--and corrected--her. Later whenever she asked anyone a question she's always asking, 'How do u pronounce your name?' Haihz =.="
So then she told us about 'Modals"--words like could, would, should, has...And she told us to discuss ways to overcome shyness using the word "should" and "should not". She told us to get into groups of two people, but coz no enough ppl so some groups were trios, and she kept referring to them as pairs.
All fo a sudden she was talking about "Modals" and I was looking abstractly and she turned to me and said, 'Can u give me a sentence with the word "Should"?'
Outside I was annoyed but inside I was just waiting for the chance. I knew what I was going to say to her. So adopting an annoyed tone: 'Why me?'
ML: Coz u r smart. I know u r smart.
Me: [offhandedly, exasperatedly] People should not abuse the rights of children to profit.
[syazwani was grinning at me and so was rabiatul; both gave me thumbs up]
ML: Jonathan did u hear that? Did u hear what she said? [turns back to me] Can u repeat it for him?
Me: [still offhandedly] Why?
ML: Repeat for him. He didn't listen.
Me: [in 'and it is my problem how?' tone] So?
ML: Repeat for him.
Me: [the whole class was watching] Why?
Ml: [tsk-tsk] He never listen. [I interrupt with a 'So?'] Repeat again.
Me: [still in the same annoyed brat tone] Why?'
ML: Pls co-operate.
Me: [seriously mad oredi; I SO did not want to co-operate] People should not abuse the rights of children to profit.
ML: Okay thank u.
The whole class was clapping. Syaw and R were like, 'Kamu berani ya.'
'Ya wat,' I retorted. 'Dia mahu facts I beri dia facts lorrr. Dia ask mah.'
I'm being cheeky, and maybe I was too high on it, but me, Megan and Erina didnt do so well on the speaking assignment [oral]. So? And all the while I was thinking, 'But why should we overcome shyness? I mean if u can overcome then good. But if u cant overcome....I mean, it's what makes us unique rite, it being a part of our personality?
No one bothered to listen. Wish Uncle Dick was here. Neways the whole class hates her now. And I'm really mad.
Time for some philosophy.
Why do we, in the process of making ourselves more like...ourselves, become people we swore we never want to be? Or in other words, why are we turning into people we are not, when we are trying to be the people we are?
Man tend to complicate simple things. Why? Because Man refuses to see what is right in front of them. They are afraid of the truth. You could have a meteor crashing down onto town, and I bet that more than fifty percent of the people still think that everything's gonna be okay. They only see things they want to see, instead of what they should really see.
Why? That's the big question.
Why aren't police stepping up even though the crime rates are shooting thru the roofs? Why aren't teachers putting as much ommph into students who arent that brilliant compared to the energy they give to better students? Why are politicians who claim to help save the Earth isn't doing anything besides building new dams and nuclear weapons? Why is there war in the world? Why can we challenge authority we think isn't proper? Why do we have to be punished for doing the right thing?
Why isn't there anyone to help us?
Why.
That's the big question.

Friday 13th: People say it brings bad luck, but it brought good luck for me......
It was Seni, supposed to draw some cartoon but got bored so never draw, working on my story. Hehe. Erina was writing oso, while everyone was drawing. Megan drew a silly cartoon about me and Timmy [watch out, Meg!] so in the end I was talking to Erina and I agreed to do a makeover thing.
Erina got out her comb and started parting my hair. Soon, Megan and Candice came to look. So did Min Yap, Angela, Audrey, Yi Jing and Yee Seng. Even Encik Ahmad Zalizan came and look, and he was teasing about, 'Apa? Di sini ada makeover kah?'
Got so embarrassed. Dunno what the rest of the class thought about it.
Then Megan and Erina started to tie my hair and clip it nicely. Felt weird but they say I look nice. Then Candice got so hyper she and Megan started saying, 'Eh! Let's call Timmy and let him see her.'
And then Uncle Dick was like, 'Okay! I go send message now!' He disappear to God knows where. And Hani and the rest of the class [okay, just my frens] came crowding around and saying, 'Ohmigod! You look so hot!'
Later after that Erina made me promise not to wear my specs and not to take out the rubber band until Timmy saw. She dashed out minutes before bell rang to teman Vania go audition for Interact thing. She's supposed to be dancing and she's in a very gorgeous dress. Classy.
Neways, Candice they all were screaming at Uncle Dick to get Timmy. Then they dragged me out and we met him half way. When Timmy saw me he was so stunned [later said via SMS: YES! The timmy was truly stunned] he stared at me for a while, all my girl pals surrounding in a half circle around me, and then he took a step back and tripped on the drain cover SERIOUSLY [u noe they put the bars on top of the drain to block ppl from falling in? Thats wat he tripped on]
Then he stumbled back, almost fell if Uncle Dick didn't catch him just in time. Later he said on MSN tat he half tot it was some kind of weird dream. And then he said something like, 'Wow! U look very nice.'
At this Candice and the rest of the girls screamed like mad leh. Then Candice guided me to the canteen and we had something to eat....and I saw my sister.
And she was like, 'Hmm, not bad. Okay what.'
Round 1: I win!
But later in the scouts' den I took it off coz felt bit weird lah...Later when I came home I switched my phone on and there was a message from Timmy saying I looked good in the new look. Hehe. He also said why I removed the rubber band so fast. Yikes. Didnt even noe he noe.
Later I sent one of his comments to Megan and she replied back, Oh thats good news! and WHY DID YOU TAKE OFF YOUR HAIR?? [Yikes, i didn't even noe she knew!] Oh you can use my clip to pin up your hair tomorrow. :) tie ah!! and ask your mom to buy for you contact lens. you look seriously hot without it. that specs of yours is preventing your hot-ness [ahem ahem] to re-unviel!!
So there you have it.
And to add to the happiness, I went online and after frustrating banging on the computer and much talking with Timmy, finally managed to upload Skin by Alexz Johnson onto my playlist so I can copy the code to paste in my link list. Maybe I'll alternate between Skin and Pick Up The Pieces very nice also by Alexz Johnson. Now I want Liar Liar, Temporary Insantity, Time to be Your 21, and That Girl. [I can only save them in playlists, so if u have the music file send to me pls!!!]
YEAH I FINALLY KNOW HOW TO DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES! I wanna thank Timmy, my supporter all these while. My school family--Uncle Dick, Reina McSteamy, Mighty Megan, Candice, Angela and everyone else---you know hu u are! I also wanna thank the Academy for giving me this beautiful award.....
What?!!
Can't a girl dream for a while?!!

Did you see the muffin girl, the muffin girl, the muffin girl?
I didn't noe if this was actually what Timmy said, but Min Yap said that he didn't wanna say hell, so instead he said [according to Min Yap], 'This is...one heaven of a muffin!'
When I told Megan she laughed and said, 'Well, this is...one earth of a muffin!'
Damn geng on how my frens can find phrases like this.
Then Angela came and saw the remaining muffin intended for Erina. She wanna buy from me, but I apologized and said it was for Erina. I made it up to her by saying I'll bring one for her tomorrow. She later gave me this yummy marshmellow thingy with grape filling. Yum!
When Erina arrived she took the muffin and started to eat when I told her how colorful Min Yap, Timmy and Megan described the 'Muffin of Paradise' as I had dubbed it. She oso laughed and said, 'Ok lah, we call this...one Venus of a muffin!'
=.=" You tell me zhadou or not?
So then went back to class. Before that saw Jennifer and Megan in canteen, J begged me to bring one for me. Chaiu Hui oso. So, one plus one plus one equals three. Gotta bring three tomorrow.
Then later in class me and Erina went to look for Pn. Lee at 3 Lili. Met J.Y. There. He was like, 'Hey! Why you make muffin never let me eat?'
'You never ask mahh!' I said. 'Wait, how u noe?'
'That Erina come to our table [Erina and JY eats together] and eat the muffin lorrr. She go and say you make especially for her, make us all so jealous.'
=.=" 'Haihz, okok, i see can bring for u tomorrow or not lah.'
Walking back to class...
'Eh, JY say u make him so jealous when u ate the muffin lehh,' I said.
'Hehe, yalah,' Erina said. 'Make them jealous abit mah, so just tambah-tambah lor. Tell them u make specially for me.'
I could only shake my head. Erina's affection for my muffins are too *geng* oredi.
Like the other day...week....month....
We were playing Drama. We all act like some director and cast then we act out a stupid comedy. Erina was the main lead.
Erina McSteamy: [acting a les] Candice, I love you so much. Please be with me.
Candice: Ok Erina I'll be with you.
Narrator [played by McSteamy]: Suddenly Candice dropped down and dieddddddd......
EM: Candice, nooooooooooooooo........
N: After that she met with the beautiful Princess Elly. [My cue to enter the drama] She's the hottest of all the princess, and McSteamy fell in love with her. [Mimes a lovestruck person] Haihz, but so sad, the high-and-mighty Princess Elly rejected her [I mime rejecting Erina] And Erina McSteamy was so heartbroken [Erina mimes crying]
Min Yap: There's a muffin sale across the street.
Tat might not seem funny, but at the moment it was coz it was totally random and unpredictable until all of us started laughing.
Wierd drama club, huh?

Do we make the rules, or do the rules make us?
A: Hey, for your info, you and erina considered blacklisted.
Me: Yes? Why?
A: To your own classmates. Leadership failed.
Me: Fine. You so smart, you take the position back lah. I dun really care about them.
A: I'm just telling you. Why got so serious all of a sudden? Did I say something?
Me: Er...Yeah! U think it's so easy to get them to shut up? If it's so easy u do it. Seems to me that u do whatever they wan without bothering about the consequences. And when me and erina try to do the right thing we get blamed. Thx alot andrew now I'm feeling SOOOOOO much better.
A: Felt better screwing me? Erh U got blamed is it nice? You know how i bare with it when i got blamed?
And it goes on and on. I was being totally sarcastic, and I was crying. Then I smsed Timmy abt the whole situation and truth be told, he was giving me better advice than Andrew is. Andrew's just acting like some this-is-your-fate-bear-with-it guy. I can't believe him. I told him that I was just trying to do my job, and if it makes me cruel, then so be it. He told me not to be like Min Yap and say "so be it."
Andrew is a hypocrit. He tells the class to lower down, and the next minute he's yakking with them like mad. And this makes the class like him more than me and Erina.
And Erina is not much help either. She's never around, and when she does she's always falling asleep and leaving me to deal with the class. Hey, at least Timmy's pushing me for the makeover.
Andrew says that frm now on he'll help us if we need it. This is actually what he said:
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
i'm saying if you and erina agree
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
i'll come back
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
to help
Taylor, Angel of Faith, Guardian of Stars, Gatekeeper of the Mystic Realm says:
and wat can u do?
Taylor, Angel of Faith, Guardian of Stars, Gatekeeper of the Mystic Realm says:
r u able to keep the class quiet for at least ffiteen minutes?
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
you'll see
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
no
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
but i can keep them low
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
can you keep a dog quiet?
Taylor, Angel of Faith, Guardian of Stars, Gatekeeper of the Mystic Realm says:
i keep mine quiet
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
yea
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
cause
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
it likes you
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
right?
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
same thing
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
to the class
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
understand?
Taylor, Angel of Faith, Guardian of Stars, Gatekeeper of the Mystic Realm says:
my dog isnt quiet coz i pet her
Taylor, Angel of Faith, Guardian of Stars, Gatekeeper of the Mystic Realm says:
its coz if she's not quiet my mom hits her
Taylor, Angel of Faith, Guardian of Stars, Gatekeeper of the Mystic Realm says:
u wan me to do that i'm fine with it
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
lol
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
wow
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
no no no
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
well there is another way
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
to work this out alright
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
so stay calm all times
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
its for your own good
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
just take it easy
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
alright?
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
why people dont obey you?cause they dont know you and you're not nice to them and you're not making them agree with what you say
[[Ryuu]DreW]P.T.I]™ says:
then what you should do is be nice to them keep your own anger and throw it away talk to them nicely make them your friend
Easy for you to say. You're their hero and I'm just....some temp job. I tried to quit today in Seni but Erina and Candice wouldnt accept it. They forced me to take it back. Now I can't help but wonder, how many people in 3 Dahlia dislike me and Erina? How many people aren't really my frens, but just random people who want to see me fall? Who can I trust? Are you friend or foe? Because I really don't need this right now.
Erina had said it's bad for me to keep myself in fantasy too much, but doesn't she know that it's the only place I can hide? Where everything will automatically be okay? When I enter that realm, I'm no longer me; I'm Taylor, and Chris and Danika and Leo, they'll all be there. No more suffering; no more pain, just a place where I can dream and be the true me. The me no one ever gets to see.
I'm the girl that's so cold because she's afraid of getting hurt again, of being betrayed; I'm the girl that doesn't know who to trust, because everyone's just waiting for me to crash and burn; I'm the girl that is only able to escape all the hate by just living a few hours in a dreamscape, where no one can ever find me; I'm the girl that is so sick of being used, that refuses to break down but can't help it.
What can I do? I'm sick of doing everything wrong and having people shout at me; I'm even sicker of doing everything I'm supposed to be and have more people shout at me. Am I just destined to be an outsider for the rest of my life?
Now the question remains: Will I fly, or will I crash and burn?
Or will I continue to be used by people I barely know?
Will I fight back...
...or join the club?
Should I please everyone...
...or do what I think is the right thing, regardless of everyone else?
Everyone says I've gotta be strong, do what Andrew does--he makes frens and they obey him. But it's not that easy.
Or it is?
What should I do, Timmy?
You tell me.

Another Bit of Something Random...
1. If you could have any superpower you want [any number oso can provided you're not to invicible to kill], what will you choose and why?
2. If you could be a character in any TV show, movie, book, comic etc., who will u be and why? [You can also choose to create a new character in your comic]
3. What do you think when someone talks about freedom and perfection?
4. What is the thing that means most to you?
5. Do you choose to live in a fantasy world, provided you can live whatever fantasy you have [like being a second Superman or Silver Surfer] or would you prefer to live in the real world, where you will experience the normal things? [P.S. In the fantasy world u hv the power to decide whether you'd like to include your frenz or not]
6. What kind of a person do u think I am? Do you think I'm a sad, emo, unpredictable person? Am I easy to be frens with? Have I taken advantage of any of you? Am I cold and harsh, or naiive and innocent? Am I easy to read or too proud and arrogant to let any of you enter my life?
7. Do you think I have a future in writing? Becoz if I don't, tell me now so that I may give up the whole thing.
8. Is it possible to like someone for close to 6 years and still not let him/her go, despite the fact that you know he/she has feelings for someone else?
I'm doing all this becoz I just don't know what to do anymore. I's mad, coz my mood is linked to my characters in my stories [ask McSteamy if u dun believe!] When I'm thinking of a sad part in the story, I cry. When the character is feeling harsh and cold and guarded, that's how I am in real life. It's like.....I absorb their life force, their personalities, I'm being too involved in their lives.
But no one knows why I do that.
I'm going to tell you the reason right now.
It's because I feel there's no more hope for this world, and the only way to make everything right is just to disappear. Just erase everything. Start with a blank slate.
I get involved in fictional lives because all the main characters in my story were based on the concept that they were all the things I probably could never be. And late at night, when I'm just feeling so broken down, I just close my eyes, and fiction comes to life, and there is the only place I can hide until I face the rest of the world.
Because my dreamscape is my sanctuary.
Randomness.....
Neways, I went online and made myself an account [I told you I was bored!] If u wanna see my account the URL is http://Organized-Chaoz.bebo.com I opened the account and I uploaded Lauren Lee Smith's pix [same one u'll all see in my blog here]. I even issued a warning that the person in the pix is NOT me.
And again, I was looking around the site when I saw [the horror] at least 12 people claiming to be Alexz Johnson! Ok, I noe that they're all fans of hers [I'm one as well] but they really didn't have to put their names as Alexz Johnson there.
But I'm leaving the point.
Ok, the other day Uncle Dick and I were talking in class during WBS [sure u guys noe what it means] and we were on the subject of perfection. I asked him what he thought about it. He said that it was pretty sad coz there's no such thing as true perfection. In the end we came to the conclusion:
Perfection is a myth.
And so is freedom, apparently.
How many of you have felt that people in USA can wear whatever they want to go to school while we back here hafta wear stupid uniforms? Uncle Dick said that despite everything, the whole uniform issue's kinda like communism. Why? Because they want us to all look the same, act the same. Isn't there something like, oh let's say, KEBEBASAN BERSUARA?
I don't know why I'm being a grouch today. Maybe it's just because I'm feeling emo or what, but all I wanna do is just curl up in my bed, put on some emo music, maybe Oliver James' Greatest Story Ever Told, Elliot Yamin's Wait for You, or I could take the next step and listen to Antonio Vivaldi's The Four Seasons. It's kinda cool for a violin concerto. I didn't know I liked classical music.
Then after that, I'll just pull out a book and read, or I can just day dream, dream that maybe I'll find myself sinking into a world where everything sad and negative will just be erased, no more pain, just love, and happiness. Every night, I dream of things, weird things, scary things, but I know that no matter what I'll wake up with a sense of contentment.
WHY AM I SO EMO TODAY?

______________________________________
Jay and Nessa were just finishing their Jamaica Almond Fudge from Baskin Robbins® when this bozo in a coat suddenly went crazy right in front of them.
'Hey, mister, you okay?' Nessa asked hesitantly. The guy ignored her, and looked at his hands. One minute they were normal, the next they had disappeared. Nessa and Jay exchanged looks. Jay seemed interested. 'Nessa, do you know what this means?' he said breathlessly. 'He's a Stealth. He's a New Mutant, just like us.'
'Titus!' someone called. Jay turned to look, and blinked when he saw the same guy running towards the first. Nessa was grinning. 'I guess that makes them twins?' Jay didn't answer.
'Titus,' the first guy called again just as Titus lost control. His whole body, including his clothes became invisible. 'Titus! Don't do this.'
Nessa's eyes glowed feral gold. 'I can still see him,' she said, tracking him by Titus's body heat. She saw as he walked near a couple of empty oil drums, and her eyes widen at what happened next. 'Jason,' she yelled. 'PHASE!'
Jay phased out, but he needn't have worried. The First Guy had already sent a stream of energy flying at the oil drum that Titus had lifted and thrown at Jay, shattering it into pieces. Titus continued throwing more stuff at them, and a crate missed Nessa by inches. Another crate was thrown towards her, but she jumped, the crate hitting Titus instead. It took her a second to realise that the crate came from behind her. She swung around.
Alix was there, her hand outstretched, having telekinetically thrown the crate at Titus. 'Jay,' she called, 'you alright?'
Jay wiped the blood off a cut on his hand. 'Yeah,' he joined Nessa and his sister. 'You like the party?'
His sister threw him the keys to the Ducati. 'Go home, both of you.'
Needless to say, both were indignant. 'Look, Alix, come on.' Nessa pleaded. 'We want to stay.'
'And I say no.' Alix concluded firmly. 'Crates and oil drums are easier to explain than people going "ghost" in public. 'Go home.'
Scowling, both went home on the Ducati. Turning back to the scene, Alix sensed someone behind her. Swinging around, she gave the intruder a hard kick, only to find it blocked by the First Guy. 'Hey,' he said.
Awkward silence. He then gestured. 'Titus is gone. He disappeared. Thanks for your help.'
Alix nodded. 'Yeah,' she blinked as a new emotion came over her. Cocking her head to a side, she looked at the guy. The same realization came to them at once.
'You're a telempath!" both burst out togeher, and laughed.
'Sorry, my name's Chris. Chris Perry.' He offered his hand.
'Alix Summers,' she said, shaking it. 'So...Titus is your--?'
'Ahh,' Chris rubbed his head. 'He's my brother. Twin brother. He's a Stealth.'
Alix's eyes widen when the full meaning of the sentence sank in. 'God, Chris. I'm so sorry.'
'Nah,' Chris said, shaking his head. 'You didn't know.'
'Okay,' They lasped into silence again. Alix hesitated. 'How did he become like that?'
'I'm not really sure myself,' he confessed. 'All I know is that whenever Titus loses control, his dark side, Griffin, takes over. And he can shoot mean energy from his hands.'
'Dark anti-matter?' Alix guessed. Chris nodded. 'And judging by the look of it, Griffin's going on a city-wide rampage, and it'll take a lot to keep him down.'
Why does Chris trust Alix so quickly? What's the deal with Titus/Griffin? Is there any chemistry between Alix and Chris? Find out in the next episode of The X-Men: The Future Generation.

The X-Men: The Future Generation [Part 2]
'Professor? Professor Xavier?'
Here, Alexzandria. I'm here, with David and Erik, Xavier replied telepathically.
Alix blinked. She peered harder at the trio using her mind's eye. 'Sorry, Professor, but I can't see you. Are you sure you're there?'
Yes, Alix, I'm here, Xavier said yet again. Maybe if you look inside David, you'll find me....
'Worth a shot,' Alix muttered, zooming in onto David, focusing her telempathy onto him. She felt something strange inside of him, two beings. One she recognized as Xavier, but the other is...
Lucas, Xavier explained. David's more powerful and evil personality. Ever since David left the mansion more than twenty years ago, Lucas was overpowering him. The last time we met, David was in control, but then I realized that Lucas was controlling him from within, like a puppeteer and the puppet.
'Let me guess,' Alix bit her lip. 'David is the puppet.'
Correct. And since then, Lucas had been using David as a front. Xavier sighed. All these while, I've been trying to get Lucas away from David but--
Alix was getting impatient. 'Sorry to interrupt, Prof., but I really like to know how you got in there.'
Xavier smiled. I was wondering when you'd ask. Alright then, I'll tell you. Alix prepared herself for a long story as Xavier began. I don't know if you remember, but you were about six when David slash Lucas came back.
We were preparing a battle, the X-Men against David. Yes, he was that powerful, Xavier's voice broke out, distracting Alix from her thoughts about how powerful David was. She raised an eyebrow when she realized that she didn't voice out that opinion. Xavier's smile widen. I am telepathic, Alix. Anyway, we were fighting David. His powers were great, far more powerful than that of Wanda Maximoff.
'Magneto's daughter,' Alix exhaled. 'Right.'
Exactly. David was considered great, even by our standards. And I realized that the only way to stop him was by sending a powerful psychic attack to his head, confusing him, confusing Lucas.
Alix had to grin. 'But, as usual, it backfired.'
Xavier was laughing. No doubt you are recalling what happened in your time.
'Yep,' Alix said, sobering. She remembered. When she was younger her parents fought quite alot about the X-Men. Being the naiive kid she was, Alix instinctively thought she was the cause of their fighting, and proceeded to project a dark figure that would kill her due to a misunderstanding that was later corrected.
After the incident, Professor Xavier resolved to give her the same treatment he gave her mother Jean when she was new to her abilities. He erected psychic shields in Alix's mind so that she would not be able to use her telepathic abilities until she had achieved the maturity necessary for dealing with them. Simultaneously, he taught her how to levitate and manipulate objects through psionic force. When Alix was thirteen, Xavier judged that she had reached a certain level of mastery of her telekinetic power, and he removed the psychic barriers that prevented Alix from using her abilities.
What he didn’t know, or perhaps miscalculated, was that the moment he released the barriers, Alix’s telekinetic/telepathy powers coalesce together, giving her an additional power: the power to feel the emotions of others around her, the ability to alter those emotions, and the power to launch psionic bolts, making her quite the psionic.
Probably the ultimate psionic if I added the Chromatic part, Alix thought quietly to herself, careful to shield her thoughts from Xavier. He didn't need to know that.
Xavier was still talking. To cut a long story short, I became trapped in David's mind, bodiless. Oh, I still have my power, but I cannot access to it simply because Lucas doesn't allow it. I am by far the more powerful telepathic, but this is David's world I'm trapped in, and Lucas controls David. Unless Lucas relents, I am for the time being a non-mutant, serving now as Lucas's conscience.
Alix couldn't believe some parts. 'And Lucas knows you're there, right?'
Maybe, Xavier did a mental shrug. He dismisses me as the good side of David, because all these while, David has been shielding me from Lucas. It is possible that Lucas has been ignorant of my presence here with him.
'Ooh-kay,' Alix said. 'And I fit into this plot how--?'
Xavier sighed again. I know what I'm about to ask of you is a big deal, Alix, but now you're my only hope. I need you to help me find out what is David doing with Magneto. I know he's planning something, but Ian seems to have suspected David, and is keeping him away. David is now my only link to the outside world. I cannot live like this any longer!
The last sentence was delievered with a blow of frustration that surprised Alix. She raised an eyebrow when Xavier mentioned Ian, David's third and most docile, but no less dangerous than Lucas, personality. A question had been at the tip of Alix's tongue for a while now. 'Professor, how is Lucas controlling David? Because I'm using the Cerebro and looking at him right now, and he looks just like....well, David.'
Xavier seemed startled. Hold on, Alexzandria. You mean you're using the Cerebro? Is your mother there with you? How did you get in? Does anything know what you're doing? Do you know what you're doing?
'Whoa!' Alix held up a telepathic hand to stop the flow of questions. 'It's yes, no, long story, no, yes. Please,' she scowled. 'I would know. Can you answer the question?' There was a hint of irratation in her voice.
I think I know the answer to that, Xavier said after a pause. I think that Lucas is using David's appearance to walk in the outside world. Think of it along the lines of shapeshifting.
'Of course,' Alix blinked. 'Why didn't I think of that?' She inhaled as her telempathy guided her to another scene. 'Professor...' she said slowly.
Yes?
'I gotta go,' Alix ripped off the headset without waiting for a reply, and rushed towards the sliding door. Lucky for her no one was in sight. She rushed into the elevator and stabbed at the buttons, biting her lip impatiently as she rose up to the ground floor. Grabbing her coat, she ran past Reina and the others who were playing Monopoly. She ran out of the mansion and towards the garage. Once there, she took her Ducati Monster, and immediately heading for town.
It took her two seconds on the road to realize that she haven't told Xavier about Optical yet, but Alix didn't care. Because what she just saw was something more important.
It was the image of Jay and Nessa being attacked.
